| More than 65 VIPMOAA members attended the luncheon at Patriots Colony, Williamsburg VA, 23 Sep 2010, celebrating our 45th year as a MOAA chapter.
The photo at top left shows active VIPMOAA members, representing the different service branches:
Gloria Diggs, COL, US Army, Ret; Roland Carr, CAPT, USN, Ret (representing Navy & Coast Guard); Theodore Fahrlender, LTC, US Air Force, Ret; Ernest Hinojosa, COL, USA, Ret; and Ted Morris, LTC, USA, Ret (representing Marine Corps where he spent a portion of his military career)
The middle photo shows Patriots Colony attendees. Our chapter holds meetings in a variety of locations to accomodate as many people as possible in our large georgraphic area. It felt especially fitting to hold our 40th anniversary celebration at Patriots Colony which was created especially for retired officers. Some Patriots Colony residents invited VIPMOAA members attending to come by and see their residences after the luncheon. Also, Steven Hornsby, Director of Marketing gave a brief presentation and whole-hearted welcome to the VIPMOAA group.
Shown in third photo at left are VIPMOAA presidents, past and present, who attended. Pictured from Left to Right:
