MISS HAMPTON II CRUISE - MAY 2010
Sub viewed with Ft Monroe in background. by Bob Mallison
Fifty-seven VIPMOAA members enjoyed a cruise aboard the Miss Hampton II on 27 May 2010.  Our membership chair, Col Don Klovstad, USAF, Ret, arranged the cruise, instead of our usual monthly meeting.  In addition to the narrated boat tour past Naval bases and shipyard, VIPMOAA had their own tour guide during the stop at Fort Wool - Mike Cobb, curator of the Hampton History Museum. VIPMOAA attendees included active duty Fort Monroe Col John Halstead and his wife, as well as our President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Immediate Past President, Fort Monroe Liaison, ROTC Chair, Newsletter Editor, Public Affairs Officer and Chaplain.  A vanload of nine from Patriots Colony attended.
